Thrilled beyond belief to announce that another little bundle of joy has picked us to be their family. We chose to have our first ultrasound on camera with our #DWTS crew capturing the result – something I NEVER thought we’d ever do… but @vanderkimberly and I have been through three of those first appointments to discover either no heartbeat, or no baby, and she wanted to share this moment. Miscarriage (a word that needs a replacement – nobody failed to “carry”, these things sometimes just happen) is something that people rarely talk about, and often go through in secret. But there needs to be zero shame around it, or around giving yourself the time and space to grieve. We decided to put ourselves out there – not knowing what we’d find – in an effort to chip away at any senseless stigma around this experience and to encourage people who might be going through it to open themselves up to love & support from friends and family when they need it most. James Van Der Beek diventerà papà per la sesta volta!

Lunedì Van Der Beek, 42 ​​anni, ha rivelato che lui e sua moglie Kimberly Van Der Beek  aspettano un altro bambino e sono “elettrizzati”.

La coppia, che si è sposata nel 2010, ha dato il benvenuto alla figlia Gwendolyn nel 2018. Sono anche genitori delle figlie Olivia, 9, Emilia, 3, Annabel Leah, 5 e figlio Joshua, 7.

“Entusiasmo oltre ogni immaginazione per annunciare che un altro piccolo raggio di gioia ci ha scelto”, ha scritto Van Der Beek su Instagram insieme a una dolce foto di tutta la sua covata.

Van Der Beek ha abbinato i suoi figli, vestendosi di nero mentre la mamma Kimberly, 37 anni, indossava un maxi abito stampato con animali.

Van Der Beek ha spiegato: “Un Aborto spontaneo (una parola che ha bisogno di un rimpiazzo – nessuno non è riuscito a” portare “queste cose a volte capita) è qualcosa di cui le persone parlano raramente e spesso passano in segreto.”

La star di Dawson Creek ha continuato spiegando che ci deve essere “zero vergogna” per gli aborti spontanei e che i genitori dovrebbero dare “spazio ala sofferenza”.

“Fortunatamente, per noi – questa volta – siamo usciti con lacrime di gioia.

Van Der Beek è attualmente in competizione nella stagione 28 di Dancing with the Stars.

Ha anche annunciato che aspetta l’episodio di lunedì poco prima di ballare il passo veloce di “Walking on Sunshine con la sua compagna Emma Slater.

“Oggi andiamo nell’ambulatorio per fare un’ecografia. Abbiamo motivo di credere di essere che sia nuovo incinta. Siamo così entusiasti che ci sia un nuovo piccolo Van Der Beek “, ha detto.

“Sentire il battito del cuore è stato, è qualcosa che non dai mai per scontato.”

In seguito ha condiviso la notizia con Slater dicendo: “Quindi abbiamo recentemente scoperto di essere incinta”.

“Abbiamo avuto 5 figli. Abbiamo avuto 3 aborti spontanei tra questi “, ha detto.
